The condemnation of President Donald Trump's move acknowledges Jerusalem as the capital of Israel continues.
Criticism is now coming from the European Union and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
President Putin said President Trump's decision could 'wipe out the prospect of peace' between Israel and the Palestinians.

This was stated by Putin after a meeting with Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, in Ankara on Monday (11/12).
"Both Russia and Turkey believe that this (President Trump) decision does not help encourage a conducive situation in the Middle East, which is complicated," Putin said.
"This could undermine the Israeli-Palestinian peace process," he added.
Erdogan said he and Putin took the same approach to the problem and he specifically accused Israel of 'deliberately dousing oil into coals'.
"Israel is using this opportunity to suppress and perpetrate acts of violence against Palestinians," Erdogan said.
Separately, EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini said the EU 'united in favor of Jerusalem as the capital of both Israel and a future Palestinian state'.
He insisted the EU would not recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel until an Israeli-Palestinian peace accord is reached, which includes the city's final status.
Trump excluded?
This he said when receiving the visit of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in Brussels, on Monday (11/12).
"I have already told Prime Minister Netanyahu that the EU's position is to hold an 'international consensus' against Jerusalem ... the only realistic solution to this problem is the two-state solution, with Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and Palestine, according to the 1967 line, says Mogherini.
Netanyahu's visit to Brussels urges EU member states following Trump's decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
"What President Trump is doing is bringing the facts to us all ... peace must be based on reality, peace is based on the recognition of reality, the reality is that Jerusalem is clearly the capital of Israel," Netanyahu said.
Various rallies were held in the Middle East as well as in some countries to protest against Trump's decision, including in Dahia, Beirut, which is known as a supporter of the Lebanese group Hezbollah.
Speaking in an undisclosed location, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said Trump thought the various countries, especially in the Arab world, would support his policy.
"In fact, he now seems isolated, only Israel defends it," Nasrallah said.
In the West Bank, dozens of Palestinians throw stones at Israeli soldiers.
In addition to the Palestinian territories, demonstrations were also called in Beirut and in the Iranian capital, Tehran.
